Pensacola to Fort Dalton
Monday, February 27th, 2023
The very pink airstream was up bright and early today to begin packing to get to the first day of performances. Jasmine followed us out to the street and bid us farewell from the street corner. After we finished our first performances on tour, (WOOHOO!) our cars key fob stopped working. After a moment of fear, we simply took the battery out and put it back in, worked like a charm.
From there, we drove a little over an hour to Fort Dalton and our second Florida Airbnb, ANOTHER RV! I promise we don't have any more mobile homes planned for our future. Northern Florida just happens to be full of them! This one wasn't pink, but it had a little more leg room. We had some time to relax and for dinner I had some Velveeta Mac N Cheese and Ruth Anna had a Chibatta sandwich.
After dark we finally ventured out to Panama City Beach. We found ourselves at a boardwalk area where we grabbed some pistachio gelato, first time trying it, 10/10. The beach was dark and with all the city lights behind us it reflected off the water in cascades. It was almost scary how pretty the water looked even at night. I can't wait to see the white sand beaches during the day!
